Welcome folks, welcome to the Endweek News! This is your weekly segment of SOME things gaming. I say “some” things because, frankly, I have neither the time nor the botheredness to actually post everything of gaming related interest every week and so I will be trimming off the fat and the sliiiightly less interesting stories in favour of the Top Five stories of the week! Welcome to the Endweek News – Seb’s Top Five! So I was ill over the weekend and am only just now putting the finishing touches on this and posting it… Trust me when I say other than a few little things this was ready to be posted on Sunday. Apologies for the poor start.

We had a plan at MMGaming… We made our posting schedule and we would stick to it! Now, obviously, we aren’t professional writers and so there isn’t nearly enough incentive for us to manage to keep up with the posting every week (especially as we don’t have either the time or money to get enough games to keep up) but I would like to think that for the most part we do an acceptable job of keeping up with our schedule. Lately, due to exams both here in the UK and across the pond MMGaming has taken a back-seat for both of the major writers here (I.e. me and Nick) but even so I think we manage acceptable at keeping up… For the most part… You see, something is terribly wrong here at MMGaming… Every Sunday was supposed to be News day… The Endweek News! Unfortunately, it has been well over four months since I last posted any news at all (minus a catch-up session in mid-October). This is clearly against the natural order of things and must be rectified if balance is to be restored. However, I do feel that changes have to be made and so I am posting this to inform you all of A. Why I Have Been so Quiet With the News and B. What we are Going to do to Rectify This! Read on…
I have no excuses of any real merit as to why I have not posted any News for the last two months and a half. Minus a week that I spent on Holiday without internet and the few days it took to move into my new student flat I really could have been posting Endweek News without any real issues. Seeing as it has actually been over a month since I last posted any form of News the prospect of posting EVERY piece of interesting News during that time makes me go pale with terror. I’ve posted long News posts before BUT I would very much rather avoid having to write out 10,000 words which, let’s be honest here, few people would ever struggle through (no matter how interesting the content). Instead, I did have a few tidbits I had collected with the intention of posting (but never got round to it) from in between our last post (on the 6th) and the present. Hopefully the interest level here will make up for the fact that most of them come really rather late…
Hey everyone, it is Sunday again and as usual it is time for the News! Last week I epically failed in that I posted the news from the previous two weeks but then completely forgot to post the Colour Me Intrigued, Release Date City and Videos section. That means that actually this week  this part of the Endweek News is actually THREE WEEKS worth of stuff as opposed to just one… Yeah I know, failure at it’s finest… However, the normal Endweek News section will just be the news from the past week and I hope to have that uploaded later today as well! Anyway, enough talk! What has been intriguing and awesome in the last three weeks? Check after the jump to find out!
It’s that time of week again folks when we huddle around the glow of our computer monitors, soaking up the warm and delicious electronic goodness. It could be raining or sunny outside, it could be the middle of the night or the middle of the day but we neither know nor care because we have video games news to distract ourselves with. And it’s a rather large batch of it as well! We’ve got some beta sign ups for you to explore, some updates, some new games and some lawsuits. As usual in the gaming world it’s always awesome and always worth paying attention to. Or at least the stuff I’m about to show you is… Also, in previous Endweek Newses I have been giving you the news in a bit of a haphazard order with no real structure to it. From hence forth the oldest stories will be at the top of the post with the most recent at the bottom. Also, remember to check out the separate news post where I talk about intriguing new games, release dates and shove a bunch of awesome videos in your face. Enjoy!
Release Date City Just one release date for you this week. Developers Ronimo Games have announced that sometime in the next month the successful MOBA, fresh from XBLA and PSN, Awesomenauts will be getting a PC release version on Steam. There is not definite release date yet, but saying “this month” is close enough in my estimation. Also for those of you who own a Mac there is actually a Mac version in progress as well, so you’ll actually be able to try this one!
Once again we come, LATE, with news of the world (for which there is actually a good reason for once). And not the unimportant news of the world such as droughts and wars and other things of that nature. No here we deal in the important and the serious. For here my friends we talk about the news of the world of Games. A cut-throat world. A game eat game world. In fact, it’s much like the real world only there is about 100 times the possibility for awesome and guns with chainsaws attached to them… ENOUGH TALK! What happened in the virtual world last week?
You’d think that with only one news post per week I’d be able to keep on schedule and keep you lovely people supplied with lots of interesting news about awesome games! Unfortunately it seems that the words “epic fail” are rather appropriate here because, once again, last week I missed the Endweek News deadline and had to shift the information I had gathered into this week! Anyway! Enough remorse and sorrow! The news is important and I shall supply it to you post-haste! This week I’m also trying out a little bit of a different news system in that I will be making TWO posts! Now if you want you can check either one or the other of my news posts, but know that they contain different things. This news post is all about individual news articles. New games, new stuff, updates and DLC, it’s all the big pieces of news about individual games. The other news post (to follow shortly) will contain release dates, all the videos and the “Colour me Intrigued” bit where I will be talking about a number of games which have piqued my interest recently. So… Shall we get started!
Another week has passed, I hope that for you it was more productive than mine was. The biggest news that you can expect from me this week is that I completed Deus Ex: Human Revolution on Xbox and despite constantly saving and being more careful than a very careful thing I managed to set off a bloody alarm at SOME point during the game without noticing and thus missed out on an extra 100 achievement points for my gamer-score. Honestly, I think that has thrown me into a bad mood and I… Oh you’re here for some REAL news? I forgot that this Deus Ex stuff wasn’t important… So what is important eh? What important shiz has been happiziling?
It is unfortunate that I left at the most inopportune moment for a holiday… I left two weeks ago right in the middle of E3 and thus I missed out on most of what was going on AND I wasn’t able to post anything about it. I mean I also wasn’t here for last week’s news but that seems less important in comparison to learning about E3. However I am back now and I will once again dispense wisdom and knowledge to the masses every Sunday (or thereabouts) in the form of news of the world of video games! I might even summon the courage to look back a couple of weeks and sift through all the various updates and exciting things from E3 to give you our own highlights of this years expo… But that is just as possible to not happen, we will have to wait and see. It’s an interesting point as well that with the massive frenzy of news that was E3 the video game world has quietened down a little bit recently as they try and take a few deep breaths to steady themselves. I can understand really, the build-up to E3 followed by the massive out-pouring of news… Well I’m surprised there’s really any news at all already! But let’s see what’s been going on shall we?
