Video Mondaily – Jumping on Command

A long time ago in a flat far, far away… (Also known as a few days ago in a flat in Edinburgh via an online messenger). Tim: “Hey Seb, check out The Rake – Back to Asylum. Might be fun or make a good video.” Seb: “What is it? What makes you say that?” Tim: “It’s an Indie Horror game, check it out!” Seb: “Uh… Sure! What’s the worst that could happen!?” Well, I have demonstrated before, I have been known to do things on command and as you may have noticed my attitude towards playing The Rake by Mike R. was pretty gung-ho. After all… What could POSSIBLY go wrong with playing the free indie horror? Well the answer to that is: “quite a lot actually” and if you are interested in watching me shrieking like a little girl in absolute terror then you ought to check out after the jump!

Video Mondaily – Here to get your PULSE racing

I have been feeling a little bit down on making more Black Mesa videos after the disaster which occurred a couple of weeks ago resulting in the loss of episodes 7, 8 and 9. And while I have also planned to do a few other bits and bobs, including a few of the more interesting encounters in Borderlands 2, I have yet to actually get round to it. I will say first of all that these things ARE still in the works and I do mean to finish Black Mesa but I felt that I wanted to take a little break from it and do something completely different.

Video Mondaily – MissingNo Black Mesa

It’s been a fairly quiet week as far as videos are concerned, in fact it’s actually been a fairly quiet week as far as gaming is concerned (well, for me at least – you damn dirty coursework!). However, we do have a video that we can use for our Video Mondaily so fear not loyal viewers! This week’s video is the sixth episode in our Black Mesa series and follows up from Episode 5’s absolutely disastrous series of fails (definitely well worth the watch). This episode is less of a gigantic fail than the previous one and sees me fighting my way through more Vortigaunts, Puzzles and Headcrabs. All in a days work of a theoretical physicist. There is not really much more to say about the video other than kick back and check after the jump!

Video Mondaily – Weekend Shenanigans!

Boy oh boy do we have an awesome selection of videos for your viewing pleasure today! Over this past weekend much fun was had in having the wits scared out of us in three different games: Survivors, Slender The Eight Pages and SCP: Containment Breach (SCP: CB). Three games with three different monsters that are capable of quantum teleportation (thank you Dr. Who for that one), have to be avoided and can scare the piss out of you at any given moment of time. Thanks to the amount of scares and fun which was had in having the scares we actually now have SEVEN different videos for you to enjoy! You can watch them all now or slowly allow them to filter into your mind over the coming week, thus sustaining you until the next Video Mondaily (depends on how you take your sustenance I guess).

Video Mondaily – Rise and shine MMGamers… Rise… And shine…

Because last week I uploaded the final episode of our Amnesia series I suddenly found myself at a loss of what to record next. I had initially been considering continuing my playthrough of indie horror Anna but if you have read the review you will know that I was less than impressed with the game and even after saying that I just wanted to finish the damn thing, I gave up because I simply did not want to play any more. So I am here to announce MMGaming’s current plans for videos in the next short while. We have got a few ideas for multiplayer videos including Borderlands 2, Guild Wars 2 and a horror beta of Survivors. As well as this we might be seeing some more Call of Cthulhu and FTL from Tim. I also have a few plans including perhaps some Amnesia custom stories or other horror game mods. Todat however I wish to welcome you to the start of something completely different! Check it out after the jump!

Video Mondaily – The End of a Series

Well folks, it’s been a long and piss-fuelled journey. But finally, MMGaming has reached the end of Amnesia: The Dark Descent. To get here we braved monsters, the shadow, Alexander, monsters, computer crashes, monsters, a switch in player and did I mention monsters? It also is actually one of the few games we’ve completed in a series so huzzah for that! We hope you’ve enjoyed the series and we would love it if you checked out all the videos in our lovely playlist. We’d love it even more if you gave them a thumb, maybe a comment and if you like we really appreciate any subscribers. Don’t worry though dear friends, this is not the end. Tis an end, but not the end. We will have more videos and more series and (unfortunately for me and Tim) more scary game as well. We hope you will stick around for all of them. For now though, Seb out!

Video Mondaily – Ever danced with Amnesia by the pale moonlight?

I’ve normally avoided posting new videos from our Amnesia series so that we can entertain and enthral you with a variety of different and exciting games each week. However, other than a continuing abundance of Torchlight 2 videos we have nothing new for you this week. It is worth saying that all is not lost though, because this particular video is particularly spine-chilling and entertaining. “Why?” I hear you cry. Well, dear readers, this particular video involves me absolutely shitting a brick on more than one occasion… Definitely worth a watch if you ask me… Enjoy!

Video Mondaily – Seb Stepping In

Some of you might have been enjoying our Amnesia series with Tim getting the heeby-jeebies on an episodic basis. I know I was enjoying it, it’s not often I see him in quite so much fear of his life. However, for whatever reason he has been struggling with getting Amnesia to run properly on his computer along with his recording equipment and so, after a long and difficult struggle, he has given up. I personally thought this was pretty unfortunate as it is one of our longest series and I thought a good one at that. Well, fortune smiled upon us that day as my own saved game in Amnesia was actually at a point fairly close to where Tim’s final episode stopped. So with a great deal of trepidation and inwardly cursing myself for the idea I started to play the indie game from Frictional Entertainment again. So far it’s been dark and scary and very scary, but I am persevering and as luck (if you can call it luck) would have it, my computer DOESN’T crash when playing the game. So today’s video Mondaily features the proud “restart” of our Amnesia series! Check after the jump to enjoy!

Video Mondaily – A Double Dose of Fear… And Some RTS!

Technically two of today’s videos are actually of horror games and so the whole “Double Dose of Fear” title does make perfect sense. Of course, it could be a little misleading in that neither of the games we were playing was actually FEAR and actually in the game Tim was playing he doesn’t really get scared… Much… Anyway! As we’ve had a sudden outpouring of videos in the last week you can enjoy three new MMGaming videos today! First up we’ve got my second attempt at playing the indie horror game Slender from Parsec Productions. Due to the absolute failure of my first try I decided to give the game another bash. What happened though you will only discover after the jump!

Video Mondaily – The Happy Wheels Bandwagon

You may have noticed that all across the internet everyone is all in a tizzy about the relatively new and free browser game Happy Wheels. And because of it’s jump into the public consciousness a lot of Youtubers have made videos of themselves dying rather spectacularly again and again in the courses and maps of the ridiculous game. Well, at MMGaming we do jump on some bandwagons and so ThatForrow has managed to come up with two pretty awesome Happy Wheels videos! Check them out after the jump!
