Endweek News – Awesome Gameplay of Dishonored, Concept Art of Episode 3, some Halo 4 stuff, Meeting the Pyro and the release date of Guild Wars 2

Another week has passed, I hope that for you it was more productive than mine was. The biggest news that you can expect from me this week is that I completed Deus Ex: Human Revolution on Xbox and despite constantly saving and being more careful than a very careful thing I managed to set off a bloody alarm at SOME point during the game without noticing and thus missed out on an extra 100 achievement points for my gamer-score. Honestly, I think that has thrown me into a bad mood and I… Oh you’re here for some REAL news? I forgot that this Deus Ex stuff wasn’t important… So what is important eh? What important shiz has been happiziling?

Endweek News

You will have, obviously noticed that last week we had no news on Sunday and that this week we actually had no news on Wednesday either. And there are very good reasons for both of these things. As you might be aware I am in the middle of my exam period and I’m finding it a little more difficult to make the time to do the news. But don’t worry, after next week things ought to return to pretty much normal as both me and Tim will be finished. And so we’ll need to come up with an excuse other than “We are lazy sons-of-bitches!” Also, we are still playing around with our new “4 posts per week” system and have decided to only have one session of news on most weeks. While you might still see some Midweek News at some point in the future, for now we are going to be doing two reviews a week, on Wednesdays and Fridays. Anyway, “reasons” over! Let’s see what’s been happening in the world of video games for the last two weeks.

Endweek News – A writer sues Ubisoft, Halo 4 get’s a release date, Trailers for God of War and 0x10c are everywhere and Arkham City content get’s teased

Once again (due to the excuses I lined out last week) I again failed to post any Midweek News this past week. As well as that, this session of Endweek News was hastily researched and thrown together, you’ll just have to forgive me for these things as I have been rather busy. That said most of the news from this past week is actually trailers and other videos, so less reading for you guys. I will say no more on it but jump straight into the news!

Endweek News (unfortunately late) – Much releases and trailers, some early 0x10c screenshots, a new Borderlands character and some Bullshit Excuses

A number of you might have noticed the conspicuous absence of any Midweek News this past week. Well I fear those sharp-eyed amongst you to have spotted that will probably spot similar things again over the coming weeks due to a number of excuses that we at MMGaming have. Very good excuses actually, I’ll have you know! We can’t spend all our time playing games and talking about them… Ye gods! What the hell am I saying?!? Levity aside, it’s actually true. Nick and Josh both have commitments outside of the world of gaming which make the time they can spend on MMGaming fairly limited and me and Tim have now, once again, entered that foul time period known to all in University… Yes my friends we are once again preparing for exams and Tim at least won’t be posting AT ALL while doing so. Coincidentally we both finish on the 14th of May so you should see a return to normal around then.

Skyrim – The Siege of Markarth

In order to make up for the seriousness of the last post, after all we don’t like to be serious in the Gaming business, here is another epic Skyrim battle created by Tyrannicon for the Skyrim Machinima theatre. Named “The Siege of Markarth” the video is 8 minutes long and just as epic and awesome as the last one, definitely worth a look. Even if you aren’t into Skyrim…

Elder Scrolls Online

Yes folks! It’s true! Bethesda, along with ZeniMax Online Studios, are apparently already currently working on The Elder Scrolls Online, an Elder Scrolls MMO! Be still my beating heart… While I calm down you should click the “Continue reading” button to find out some of the details behind this!

Skyrim Update 1.5

The beta version for the most recent update for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is available right now on steam with the full version coming out fairly soon. It will be coming out to PC’s first followed shortly after by the update coming to consoles (as per usual). It’s rather depressing in that every time I look for gaming news I see stuff about Skyrim and Mass Effect 3, especially as I can play neither right now. The major new thing coming in update 1.5 is new special melee kills, and kill cams for ranged and magic attacks. As well as that there is the usual plethora of bug fixes and patches. For the full list check after the jump.

Scrolls Finally Sorted

You may recall from a while back that Bethesda were suing Notch and Mojang over the fact that Notch was intending to call his new game “Scrolls”. Bethesda believed that the name Scrolls was too similar to their own Elder Scrolls series and were worried that us foolish plebs wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. Well Mojang won the initial foray into court and so for the time being could keep the name Scrolls for their game.

Doom 4 Leaked Art and Rumours

Once again it seems that there were recently rumours that ID Software had cancelled Doom 4. This was coupled with the leaking of, I understand hundreds, of concept art, pictures and graphics all supposedly of Doom 4. Now you might have already heard about either one of these (the leak or the rumours) and wonder why we haven’t covered it yet. Well the reason is quite simple, I just wanted to make sure that I didn’t waste my own time (and yours) with MORE speculation. And I was in the right, on both counts bizarrely. Doesn’t happen often.
