Endweek News – Release Date City, Colour Me Intrigued and Videos

Release Date City Just one release date for you this week. Developers Ronimo Games have announced that sometime in the next month the successful MOBA, fresh from XBLA and PSN, Awesomenauts will be getting a PC release version on Steam. There is not definite release date yet, but saying “this month” is close enough in my estimation. Also for those of you who own a Mac there is actually a Mac version in progress as well, so you’ll actually be able to try this one!

Endweek News – Assassin’s Creed lawsuit not quite finished yet, What is this E3 thing?, a new Gears of War and some truly awesome videos!

It is that time of week where once again I delve into the grim and gritty business of video game news. It’s a cut-throat world out there, a game eat game world. A world in which only the fittest and most awesome games survive. And Call of Duty of course (OOoooh! ZING!). But seriously, it’s not really that bad (well not for everyone) and we’ve got some pretty interesting bits and pieces of news to regale you with today. Also I want to make it clear that the above video is indeed sort of relevant to this post as you shall find out later (if you read through this!) So, what’s new Gamers?

Endweek News – A writer sues Ubisoft, Halo 4 get’s a release date, Trailers for God of War and 0x10c are everywhere and Arkham City content get’s teased

Once again (due to the excuses I lined out last week) I again failed to post any Midweek News this past week. As well as that, this session of Endweek News was hastily researched and thrown together, you’ll just have to forgive me for these things as I have been rather busy. That said most of the news from this past week is actually trailers and other videos, so less reading for you guys. I will say no more on it but jump straight into the news!

Endweek News (unfortunately late) – Much releases and trailers, some early 0x10c screenshots, a new Borderlands character and some Bullshit Excuses

A number of you might have noticed the conspicuous absence of any Midweek News this past week. Well I fear those sharp-eyed amongst you to have spotted that will probably spot similar things again over the coming weeks due to a number of excuses that we at MMGaming have. Very good excuses actually, I’ll have you know! We can’t spend all our time playing games and talking about them… Ye gods! What the hell am I saying?!? Levity aside, it’s actually true. Nick and Josh both have commitments outside of the world of gaming which make the time they can spend on MMGaming fairly limited and me and Tim have now, once again, entered that foul time period known to all in University… Yes my friends we are once again preparing for exams and Tim at least won’t be posting AT ALL while doing so. Coincidentally we both finish on the 14th of May so you should see a return to normal around then.

Endweek News – Gods and Kings, Mass Effect 3 gets some delicious DLC, Assassins Creed 3 shenanigans and Relationships are Tricky…

I write this news post in the early hours of the morning as it was meant to be up yesterday. I do promise that I will try and be more punctual about these but the end of lectures and classes at University have put me in a holiday/lazy mood. Which when combined with my inherent laziness is difficult to overcome. However, let’s crack on and do the news from the last couple of days. What is going on in the gaming world?

Darksiders 2 cinematic trailer stars Death

Darksiders, hack-and-slasher by Vigil Games and THQ is a game in which you control one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse returns this year with Darksiders 2. While in the first game you controlled War and went about fighting the forces of both Heaven and Hell, Darksiders 2 sees you take control of Death. While it’s true I’ve never played the first one I have to say the premise is pretty damn cool (and looks pretty fucking cool as well). Plus the new cinematic trailer is absolutely awesome! Check it out after the jump.

Medal of Battlefield: Modern Warfighter trailer

*Insert clever but rather jaded jokes about similarity of all first person shooter war games here* That said, the trailer for Medal of Honour: Warfighter does look pretty damn cool. It’s all dark and shadowy and suggests to me a game that will not only have it’s massive shooting and explosive sections but also tactical and sneaky sections. Sounds pretty good if you ask me.

Assassin’s Creed 3 reveal trailer

A cinematic trailer for Assassin’s Creed 3! And a release date! And it has guns! And fighting! And awesome! And a massive battle! And…! And…! And…! *gasp* I think I need to go have a cigarette or something, yeah it was THAT intense… Seriously though, I LOVE Assassin’s Creed. I’m not going to say it’s the best series of games ever, that would just be the little fan-boy inside of me talking. But as a fan-boy… IT’S ONE OF THE BEST SERIES OF GAMES EVER!!! I’MA MAKE MYSELF A HIDDEN BLADE!!!

The Secret World gets a release date

Much like the name suggests, Funcom’s MMO The Secret World is something of a mystery to us at MMGaming. Despite being alerted to it by a helpful comment way back when we started up this lovely website news for The Secret World has been few and far between. I’m not even sure how much hype there is about the game or what I should be expecting. Well except that it’s set in a modern world… Except you fight demons and use magic! Sounds like a plan!
