Neptune’s Pride 2 Journal (Part 3 of 4) – The Triforce War

Early in 2013 me and my friends played a closed game of Neptune’s Pride 2: Triton, before even the glorious saga that was the war of the Space Bears. During the surprisingly brief, two-week-long, game I once again kept a journal of the exploits of my Empire in a rise and fall of epic proportions. Despite it now being two years later, I kept all my materials and have finally decided that the time is ripe to post the story. This journal log is part three of four, but you can read the previous entries here and here.

Neptune’s Pride 2 Journal (Part 2 of 4) – Optimistic Tidings

Neptune’s Pride 2 Journal (Part 1 of 4) – Once more unto the breach

Early in 2013 me and my friends played a closed game of Neptune’s Pride 2: Triton, before even the glorious saga that was the war of the Space Bears. During the surprisingly brief, two-week-long game, I once again kept a journal of the exploits of my Empire in a rise and fall of epic proportions. The Space Bears Neptune’s Pride 2 diary – Days 1 to 3 – A humble beginning

A close friend of mine became rather addicted to Neptune’s Pride 2: Triton in the early months of this year, after I introduced it to him. Part of his addiction has led to the playing of many games, far more than I’ve ever played, and in his time he even managed to secure a place in the group stages of the Neptune’s Pride 2 World Championship back in July (3 games of 6 people). Due to the importance of the game to himself and to the community of Neptune’s Pride, I persuaded Sam to keep a log of the major events (similar to that done by both us and Rock, Paper Shotgun) and he went a step further to keep a detailed and entertaining diary. I will post the diary in short segments for you reading pleasure!

Seb’s Skyrim Journal Part 7 – Where in the world is Orthorn

Welcome back to Seb’s Journal of his adventures in Skyrim where I have the intention of doing ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING that the game has to offer. These articles will be of some of the best or most amusing experiences I have in the game and I will hopefully be coming out with them fairly regularly. If you are interested you can see where I left off last time here.

Seb’s Skyrim Journal Part 6 – A slow but sure return to form

I originally started my diary of my adventures in Skyrim waaay back near the start of January this year with the intention of resuming it over Easter and Summer breaks. I don’t quite know how but during both of those periods I spent only a little time on this, one of the best games ever made. I did spend some time on it, but only in dribs and drabs, not quite enough for a diary entry. I am however pleased to say that since my return to University this year (where I now have access to an Xbox in my flat) I have properly started to get back into Skyrim with the intention of doing ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING that the game has to offer. These articles will be of some of the best or most amusing experiences I have in the game and I will hopefully be coming out with them fairly regularly. If you are interested you can see where I left off last time here.

Neptune’s Pride – MMGaming suffers another loss

It is a sad day for MMGaming, and the galaxy, as the second Rock, Paper, Shotgun community Neptune’s Pride epic has been completed (well technically I was in the third game but that’s not important). As you can see from the Star Map above, it did not end well for me. I decided to ally myself with the Yellows (called elephant god), through thick and thin. Eventually Yushi (the red) attacked the both of us because he was simply twice as strong as both of combined.

Seb’s Skyrim Journal, Part 5 – The Thu’um!

I’m going to be honest, until now I have had problems and concerns about the Thu’um, or Dragon Shouts in Skyrim. I mean, I was level 15 and I had two shouts. I had “WULD!”, the first word (of three that are in each shout) of Whirlwind Spirit, and that made me run fast… In a straight line… For half a second… So that wasn’t very impressive. I also had “FUS RO” the first two words of the famous “FUS RO DAH!” or Unrelenting Force. And while that did knock enemies back, which was useful to buy time with when I had low health, it did basically no damage and was essentially useless.
