Sword of the Stars 2: Release Fail

So last night was the launch of Sword of the Stars 2: Lords of Winter but in all the excitement I seemed to forget that Steam is a lazy, buggy, money grabbing heap of bollocks. Ok that’s not really fair, I mean it is, but on this particular occasion it is probably more the fault of developers at Kerboros or more likely a rushed release by Paradox Interactive. Honestly folks, I’m as information starved as everyone else so it’s hard to point fingers.

Sword of the Stars: Looking Back, Moving Forward

In celebration of the release of Sword of the Stars II: Lords of Winter and our Epic SotS competition I’m going to give you a quick run-down of what made the first game the incredible, addictive and down right hard-as-nails work of gaming art it was.

Hey everyone its CrossCrash I’m back for another MM Gaming Guest Review.

This time I’m looking at Iron Grip: Marauders a steam-punk-esque turn based strategy game currently available free to play on steam.

Now I’m gonna put a disclaimer here: During the review you will hear me talk about Ogame a lot. That’s because aside from the 3D strategy element that’s exactly what the interfaces remind me of. I’m not saying the games are similar in a wider sense but in the browser they do feel quite alike. Well mechanically at least.
