Aion – Winged Flight to Free!
We've become accustomed to hyped MMO releases. Back in the day, Everquest was the thing, then we moved on to WoW. While it's possible to say that World of Warcraft still reigns king of MMO population, there have been several releases since then that were hyped as "WoW-killers" or games that were going to rival the big game as the current largest MMO. These included games like the following: Age of Conan, Lord of the Rings Online, Dungeons and Dragons Online, Star Wars: The Old Republic and finally Aion. Each of these have had varied success, of course, with some going free to play, some changing their subscription methods, and some just enjoying what popularity they have.
Aion is the game of interest today, since they announced a few weeks ago that Europe servers were going free to play. Then, with the success of Lineage 2's free to play, NCSoft has decided that Aion would be doing better if it followed the same ideal. So... here we go, then!
Game BAFTA’s
The European chain of stores Game is currently running a British Academy Video games Awards, or BAVTA! Well actually it's called a BAFTA... but the point stands. Anyway, as part of this they have a massive online poll running to choose what is going to be the Game of the Year of 2011. Anyone can vote in this (or at least anyone in the UK) and you can vote right now at the BAFTA page. So a video game of the year chosen by the people!
I'm already looking forward to the outcome!
Mass Effect 3 “Take Earth Back”
Two million dead on the first day. Another seven million by the end of the first week. Every defence annihilated.
Their force is coming in for another major city, it's a well coordinated attack. And so far... it's been damned effective. Don't know what they are, what they want, or where they come from. Only one thing is certain. If Shepard doesn't bring help soon...
There won't be an Earth left to save...
Civilization V – Freedom to Worship Incoming!
Civilization V was a monster of a turn-based game... the fifth in a series that has reshaped the 4x strategy genre. When it released, there were many complaints among the community with the three largest being the following: No Religions, Terrible Optimization, and Awful AI. After releasing an almost nauseating wave of small Civilization DLCs for the game, Sid Meier's team is finally announcing an expansion to Civilization V!
Does it fix the problems? Are we just going to get more civilizations and a couple more scenarios?

Far Cry 3 trailer
I said yesterday that there was going to be a trailer for Far Cry 3 today. And look my friends, look how we have been rewarded! We have been rewarded with a trailer so full of awesome that I can't even begin to express my amazement.

“Be Mine” Indie Bundle – Indie Bundle #576
First of all, isn't this title picture amazing?! I'm anything other than a MS Paint artist, I must admit, but I was forced to come up with something random for a reason that you'll soon know if you read on. I can tell you're curious why in the world I'd draw something like this in Paint for the article when I could be using something from the website of the item that I'm talking about, aren't you?
Well, read on after the jump to learn more about this newest of the "Pay As You Can" indie bundles!
