I love live action trailers, ever since I saw my first one done by Bungie for Halo: ODST. I think they tend to show the best of graphics that can be done. Plus you can just get SO much more emotion into the trailers with real live human people than you can with animations. Graphics just haven’t reached the stage where an animated person looks as good as a real one, sorry James Cameron but its true.
That’s why the few Live Action trailers out there are amongst my favourites, like the Halo: Reach trailer; Deliver Hope.
And now there is a Portal live action trailer. And let me tell you… it is faaaantastic!
