MMGaming PUBG Sillies Two – Okay, this is epic!

Another video of the MMGamers playing PUBG and clearly having LOADS OF FUN(TM) with it! As always it’s appreciated if you comment and let us know your thoughts about the videos or just whether you enjoyed it.

Other than me (white subtitles) and Tim (green subtitles), this video also features Lami0s (teal subtitles) and Jambo (blue outlined subtitles) along with a few other friends of ours: Endon, JRoy and Bengazmo (all collectively subtitled with orange).

Hi folks! You may have noticed we have a schedule now, of course we never stick to a schedule but we certainly do try. This week Seb checks out the indie game Ghost of a Tale. The graphics and art style are super awesome but Seb doesn’t seem too impressed with the stealth mechanics. Anyway, have a look and see if it’s something you want to keep on your radar! You can access the video by clicking the title of this post, or by checking out the panel on the right hand side of the website.

Five Nights at Freddy’s and Mini Metro – Some Ideas for Your Little Minutes

Ideas for your little minutesSo you’re busy, you’ve got about an hour before you have to deal with some stuff in the real world. That world into which we rarely venture. I understand that some people, for bizarre reasons, don’t have the time to sit down and play six straight hours of Skyrim or Mass Effect 3 and so while I do not understand I suppose I should take pity on them and offer them some solace. Thus here comes the next article in our series of Some Ideas for Your Little Minutes. These articles will be of games (or perhaps betas of games) that we can’t rightfully give full reviews, because we don’t classify them as full games. But importantly these games will not be something you need to sit down and focus on for hours on end!

My Thoughts On: Runers – I hunger for magic!

Runers by Let’s Get Kraken Games is a top-down, indie, rogue-like adventure game, which makes it absolute nerd-bait because us folk love it when someone says “indie” or “rogue-like” or “permadeath”. Wait, hang on, no, I hate it when people say “permadeath”. Godammit! Anyway, it’s a pretty fun little game which takes a lot after the immensely popular Binding of Issac but also then adds the element of spellcrafting with over 250 unique spells available for discovery and usage within the game.

It’s a game that I personally feel is best described by it’s gameplay, as there really is no other element to it, and so I figured that instead of reviewing it I would simply create a My Thoughts On of the game so that I could voice my few criticisms and raise whatever points I could about the game whilst also showing you as much of the gameplay as I can given that I cannot play the game for shit. Anyway, check it out after the jump!

Video Mondaily – The Forest Begins

The Forest screenshotVideo Mondaily“The Forest is an open world survival horror game currently in development for PC. Build, explore, survive in this terrifying first person survival horror simulator.” At least, that’s the tagline for The Forest by Endnight Games. What they weren’t counting on apparently was Tim being an absolute bad-ass and totally destroying the horrifying and evil denizens of the game. It’s hilarious, it’s awesome and it shows off an alpha version of a game which looks like it has a tonne of potential to be both amazing and properly scary. Check it out after the jump!

Video Mondaily – Hawken First Impressions

Hawken wallpaperVideo MondailyHey, it’s been a while since we did one of these! Don’t worry! We’re still  not ACTUALLY dead. We’re just in the middle of The End Times (capitalization intended and necessary). Winter is Coming, and all that jazz. BUT we’re still playing vidya, just not perhaps with the same frequency as we would at any other time. And, let’s be fair, our posting rate has been utterly abysmal lately. Anyway! Tim recently jumped into the free-to-play Hawken beta by Adhesive Games (which is currently on Steam) against some AI to give a brief first-impressions of a very cool and very polished looking FPS. Check it after the jump! Continue reading

A Game of Thrones in Crusader Kings 2 (Part 1) – A United Scotland

Crusader Kings 2 wallpaper scotland

Crusader Kings 2 by Paradox Interactive is a game which has slowly been growing on me over recent months. Since I wrote the official MMGaming review of the game I have been picking it back up again every now and again and continuing a dynasty I started months ago. As I now am nearing the passing of the 200th in-game year I have had some cause to reflect on my dynasty and the success it has had, and I have come to the decision that it is a story I would like to share, because my noble house has indeed had great success. This is not a review or anything of the sort about CK2 but is simply a tale of how a noble house in Scotland has come to rule one of the most powerful nations in the entire world.

It should be noted that most of this story is told from memory, so unfortunately there are no screenshots of most of my progress through the game. I also will be talking about my progress in a way that might not always make sense to someone who hasn’t played CK2, but for the most part I hope it will be easy to follow. Continue reading
