Well, I said I would announce the winners to our Sword of the Stars Competition over the weekend. Unfortunately several wild distractions appeared in the form of coursework. The coursework then used “Due Date Monday” and it was super effective. So I couldn’t get round to announcing who had won the competition. Continue reading
Well it’s been a while now and so we are closing up shop on our Sword of the Stars Competition. Thanks to everyone who entered by Liking, Subscribing or Following our various feeds!
We’ll be announcing the winners over the weekend and will be contacting those lucky five of you with a code for Sword of the Stars! Keep an eye on your in-boxes chaps!
So if you like games you are probably interested in the competition we are running right now (see original details here) to win a code for Sword of the Stars Complete Edition. Also if you are a Sword of the Stars fan you might well be getting Sword of the Stars 2 (when Kerberos fix all the problems they’ve been having, details here). However, if you were one of the oens who pre-ordered Sword of the Stars 2 then you are probably aware that as part of the apology for messing up the release Kerberos are giving away more copies for the original Sword of the Stars.
Naturally this does scupper our competition some! However, we shall muddle on!
So last night was the launch of Sword of the Stars 2: Lords of Winter but in all the excitement I seemed to forget that Steam is a lazy, buggy, money grabbing heap of bollocks. Ok that’s not really fair, I mean it is, but on this particular occasion it is probably more the fault of developers at Kerboros or more likely a rushed release by Paradox Interactive. Honestly folks, I’m as information starved as everyone else so it’s hard to point fingers.
“But why all the hostility CrossCrash?” I hear you ask, and let me tell you.
In celebration of the release of Sword of the Stars II: Lords of Winter and our Epic SotS competition I’m going to give you a quick run-down of what made the first game the incredible, addictive and down right hard-as-nails work of gaming art it was.
In honour of the up-coming release of Sword of the Stars II: Lords of Winter <insert obligatory reference to the Starks from Game of Thrones here> which is coming out on the 28th of this month, we have been given five (that’s right FIVE) delicious codes for a Sword of the Stars I: Complete Collection! And one of these could very easily be yours if you enter our competition!
