Today as supposed to mark the arrival of the first batch of Downloadable Content for Gears of War 3. Horde Command was supposed to be out today and would contain three new maps, four upgrades for your fortifications, three new character skins and a pair of weapon skins.
However due to some unspecified "technical issue" the DLC release has been pushed back until who knows when. I imagine it will be pretty damn soon as Epic insist that the release will still be coming ASAP. In all honesty though, I think this is one batch of DLC that if it doesn't arrive on time, it's not a big deal. Multiplayer DLC has never really interested me that much and this is no exception.
The other batch of Gears of War 3 DLC coming on December 13th sounds more like my cup of tea actually. Called RAAM's Shadow it will include a bunch of story based missions in which you will be able to play as the Locust boss RAAM from the first Gears of War. Sounds cool! Whether I'll get it or not though is another story.
Anyway, the Horde Command Pack will soon be available for 800 Microsoft Points on XBL! Also it is apparently free if you have bought the 2400 Microsoft Point "Gears of War 3 Season Pass".
