Another Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game has taken the free-to-play route to try keep in competition with other MMO’s that have taken this model. Fallen Earth has been around since 2009 but overall hasn’t seen much media attention.
I played the game back in its beta stages and wasn’t too impressed, although who’s to say they haven’t improved the game significantly since then. You can pick up a 30-day trial at the Fallen Earth website and Rock Paper Shotgun speculates that the game will be free-to-play before the end of the 30 days.
