While my previous news post a few moments ago was full of doom and gloom this one is the polar opposite. I mentioned a while ago in another news post that Tribes Ascend had suddenly appeared on my radar and that it not only looked awesome but I fully intended to apply for the closed beta.
Unfortunately the links I found… Okay… The links I stole from Rock, Paper, Shotgun proved to be completely useless and so I couldn’t sign up for the beta. Yeah Rock, Paper, Shotgun! What were you guys thinking? Well after a short while of trying to find a working link, I gave up on it and committed myself to not getting even a chance with the beta.
However! It was announced recently that the beta for Tribes Ascend will hit us on the 4th of November (Remember, remember the 4th of November…). Also, when I found out about this I also found a link to the official site where you can sign up for the beta! Happy Face! You too can sign up to try it out here!
Apparently the beta will include, four multiplayer maps, 2 game modes, 3 vehicles games of up to 32 players who will have a choice of 12 classes! Sounds pretty damn cool!
