Speaking of…

As I just made a post mentioning Halo, I might as well make another one! Last week I must have been slightly blinded by drink or maybe I was simply just too busy fapping to… I mean hearing about Skyrim to notice anything else.

Whatever the reason, I somehow completely failed to notice or make a news post about the fact that the Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary was released on the 15th of November. The same day as Assassin’s Creed Revelations if anyone is counting.

This was a rather terrible oversight on my part as I am and always have been a massive fan of the Halo series and I did put some serious thought into getting this.

Usually I try to avoid reading reviews and watching videos of game I intend to get so that I can form my own opinions of a game. However, I have played Halo: Combat Evolved so I decided to check out whether the Anniversary version had done it a favour in re-making it. And according to the reviews I saw, it had! Given some pretty high-scoring reviews I think it is safe to say that Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary has stuck with, and has improved on, that overall Halo feel.

Now due to a lack of funds I feel it is unlikely I will get this game any time soon (unless you chaps at 343 Industries can see your way clear of sending a copy my way) but I would like to put it in my wish-list as a game I simply really need. Not just because it’s apparently good… but because it’s bloody Halo dammit!

In the meantime, if any of you readers of MMGaming have actually got a copy of this and would like to send a review our way, then I can only encourage that you do so post-haste!
