At MMGaming we like new and shiny things. It’s true. However, we also really like innovation and genius from the games we play. This is why when we played The Stanley Parable earlier this year we all absolutely loved it.
For those of you who don’t know. The game is a mod built on the Source engine which centres around a man named Stanley. Unfortunately, it’s almost impossible to tell you more about it because telling you more about it ruins the whole experience of the game. But trust me when I say it’s great!
The game is short but it’s really good fun and a hell of an amusing experience. Plus it’s still available for free download here.
Anyway, the reason I make this post is because Davey Wreden, the creator of the Stanley Parable is, apparently, in the process of doing a remake of it. If you want more details I suggest you get them first hand from this interview at Rock, Paper, Shotgun.
In the interview Davey talks about the process behind the Stanley Parable, he talks about the plans for the remake. And then they start talking about Portal and it sort of confuses me from there on.
