Catch-Up News – Catching up from a time long since past…

I have no excuses of any real merit as to why I have not posted any News for the last two months and a half. Minus a week that I spent on Holiday without internet and the few days it took to move into my new student flat I really could have been posting Endweek News without any real issues.

Seeing as it has actually been over a month since I last posted any form of News the prospect of posting EVERY piece of interesting News during that time makes me go pale with terror. I’ve posted long News posts before BUT I would very much rather avoid having to write out 10,000 words which, let’s be honest here, few people would ever struggle through (no matter how interesting the content). Instead, I did have a few tidbits I had collected with the intention of posting (but never got round to it) from in between our last post (on the 6th) and the present.

Hopefully the interest level here will make up for the fact that most of them come really rather late…

Video Mondaily – Rise and shine MMGamers… Rise… And shine…

Because last week I uploaded the final episode of our Amnesia series I suddenly found myself at a loss of what to record next. I had initially been considering continuing my playthrough of indie horror Anna but if you have read the review you will know that I was less than impressed with the game and even after saying that I just wanted to finish the damn thing, I gave up because I simply did not want to play any more.

So I am here to announce MMGaming’s current plans for videos in the next short while. We have got a few ideas for multiplayer videos including Borderlands 2, Guild Wars 2 and a horror beta of Survivors. As well as this we might be seeing some more Call of Cthulhu and FTL from Tim. I also have a few plans including perhaps some Amnesia custom stories or other horror game mods. Todat however I wish to welcome you to the start of something completely different! Check it out after the jump!

Endweek News – Colour Me Intrigued, Release Date City and Videos and Trailers

Hey everyone, it is Sunday again and as usual it is time for the News! Last week I epically failed in that I posted the news from the previous two weeks but then completely forgot to post the Colour Me Intrigued, Release Date City and Videos section. That means that actually this week  this part of the Endweek News is actually THREE WEEKS worth of stuff as opposed to just one… Yeah I know, failure at it’s finest…

However, the normal Endweek News section will just be the news from the past week and I hope to have that uploaded later today as well! Anyway, enough talk! What has been intriguing and awesome in the last three weeks? Check after the jump to find out!

Video Mondaily – Tenebris Lake and MMGaming

Now this is an exciting Video Mondaily guys! This week you can watch me and Tim playing the first short segment of the Amnesia mod: Tenebris Lake. Don’t worry folks, while we are creating this new series in the middle of a several other series of videos I don’t want you to worry, you will still be able to see Tim finishing off Amnesia: The Dark Descent AS well as this new series of videos. Now if you’ve read our review of Amnesia you know it’s one of the scariest games in existence, well this mod is even more ridiculously scary and caused a fair amount of heavy breathing and a fair amount of sleep was lost.

These videos are also rather special because we decided to challenge ourselves further by playing the game together: I was controlling the mouse and looking around and suchlike while Tim was on movement and using the lantern. You can expect laughs and fear in equal abundance! So sit back and enjoy the first three videos of MMGaming playing Tenebris Lake!

Skyrim Creation Kit release date

All you would be modders and designers can mark Tuesday down in your diary as Bethesda is releasing there Creation Kit Software to the public on Steam. When it goes live you can download the pack from the tools section on Steam and mod and change the game to your hearts content.

Plus there is apparently, according to Pete Hines (marketing guy for Bethesda), a secret surprise in the kit for anyone who wants to use it. Interesting, I wonder what that’s going to be…

Skyrim: Update coming soon

The full details of the next update coming for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim have been released by Bethesda. Euorgamer were very kind to post the full list of changes and updates and I’ve simply copied and pasted them in here after the jump. So you can check them out wherever strikes your fancy.

The main change coming is that there will be a fix for the lag issues that have apparently been afflicting PS3 gamers. But the list for every change made is quite long. I’m not going to lie, I didn’t read through it all it’s THAT long. I suppose with a game as vast as Skyrim it makes sense that things will fall through the cracks… A LOT of things… Continue reading
