Endweek News – Awesome Gameplay of Dishonored, Concept Art of Episode 3, some Halo 4 stuff, Meeting the Pyro and the release date of Guild Wars 2

Another week has passed, I hope that for you it was more productive than mine was. The biggest news that you can expect from me this week is that I completed Deus Ex: Human Revolution on Xbox and despite constantly saving and being more careful than a very careful thing I managed to set off a bloody alarm at SOME point during the game without noticing and thus missed out on an extra 100 achievement points for my gamer-score. Honestly, I think that has thrown me into a bad mood and I… Oh you’re here for some REAL news? I forgot that this Deus Ex stuff wasn’t important…

Scrolls Finally Sorted

You may recall from a while back that Bethesda were suing Notch and Mojang over the fact that Notch was intending to call his new game “Scrolls”. Bethesda believed that the name Scrolls was too similar to their own Elder Scrolls series and were worried that us foolish plebs wouldn’t be able to tell the difference.

Well Mojang won the initial foray into court and so for the time being could keep the name Scrolls for their game.

Scrolls Wins!

Well as I have been making posts about the whole court case between Bethesda and Mojang it seems only reasonable that I stick with it! Well, like it says in the title Mojang and Notch have won the court case and Scrolls will be allowed to keep it’s name. Bethesda can still appeal against the result apparently and probably do various other legal trickery that I won’t be able to understand… but, for now, Scrolls keeps it’s name.

Minecraft Dragons, Because poking Bethesda with a stick is fun!

It’s still not entirely certain whether or not this is true but apparently Notch is working on adding Dragons into Minecraft at some point in the future. Dragons which randomly spawn and fly around and probably attack you giving you the opportunity to kill it for phat lootz. Sound familiar? It should because that’s what the primary focus of Skyrim is going to be… and you do know about Skyrim I hope/assume/know. Continue reading
