One Night Ultimate Werewolf board game review – If you have to kill me, at least kill him too

At MMGaming we don’t just draw the line at video games. We’re geeks through and through and something we have slowly but surely be gaining a profound appreciation of over the past few years is Board Games. So it seems reasonable that now we have developed a decent repertoire of board games, that we could start reviewing them in the same way we video games.

One Night Ultimate Werewolf and the subsequent One Night Ultimate Vampire are both, together (because they are not entirely separate games), easily within my top 3 board games of all time and have been sitting there proudly ever since they soared there so effortlessly. Continue reading

Neptune’s Pride 2 Journal (Part 3 of 4) – The Triforce War

Starship Troopers space battle

Early in 2013 me and my friends played a closed game of Neptune’s Pride 2: Triton, before even the glorious saga that was the war of the Space Bears. During the surprisingly brief, two-week-long, game I once again kept a journal of the exploits of my Empire in a rise and fall of epic proportions. Despite it now being two years later, I kept all my materials and have finally decided that the time is ripe to post the story. This journal log is part three of four, but you can read the previous entries here and here. Continue reading

World of Warcraft: Cataclysm retrospectacle – The world heaves with my torment…

World of Warcraft wallpaper

Hey everyone, my name is Sabor117, and I’m a WoW addict. You know, I was recently introduced to the very well written TV show The West Wing in which a character talks about alcoholism as being where a normal person would have one drink, an alcoholic has ten. They essentially just can’t stop themselves, or at leas that’s what I took away. I got off World of Warcraft four years ago, it was just after I finished school and I found that I just couldn’t quite afford it any longer (both time and money wise). So, I quit, cold turkey. I got my main character to 85 in Cataclysm and then left and never looked back. Continue reading

Endweek News – Assassin’s Creed lawsuit not quite finished yet, What is this E3 thing?, a new Gears of War and some truly awesome videos!

It is that time of week where once again I delve into the grim and gritty business of video game news. It’s a cut-throat world out there, a game eat game world. A world in which only the fittest and most awesome games survive. And Call of Duty of course (OOoooh! ZING!). But seriously, it’s not really that bad (well not for everyone) and we’ve got some pretty interesting bits and pieces of news to regale you with today. Also I want to make it clear that the above video is indeed sort of relevant to this post as you shall find out later (if you read through this!)

So, what’s new Gamers?
