Yesterday Kevin Dent, the chairman of the IGDA Mobile SIG (International Game Developer’s Association mobile games devision, in case like me you need to look it up) apparently alleged on his twitter feed that video gaming giant THQ was in financial trouble and as such would not be producing it’s 2014 games line-up. The thing most people were concerned about here was the upcoming Warhammer 40K MMO: Dark Millennium Online.
Anyway the rumour mill went nuts and now after a brief wait (you could probably cut the tension with a knife) THQ has denied any such cancellation of it’s games line up for 2014. Interestingly they did say they have “made no decisions” about Dark Millennium Online, which is hardly a massive show of support for the game, but I you shouldn’t lose hope.
That’s if you were at all looking for forward to a Warhammer 40K MMO…
