Fear not readers of MMGaming! Seb and Tim are back and we are ready to once again jump right back into our duties, and we promise they’ll be just as slow and haphazard as always… That’s just our style!
Anyway this Friday’s review comes in the form of a Preview video Tim recorded a couple of weeks ago. War of Human Tanks is an anime style strategy game of a similar style to the famous Advance Wars for Gameboy, with the odd twist of a gameplay mechanic which is a combination of both real-time and turn-based strategy. In the game you take control of a number of, well as the name suggests, human tanks on a board covered in fog of war. The above interesting gameplay mechanic Tim shows and discusses and in the video you also get to see a fair bit of gameplay. You can check it out and read a little more after the jump.
The game comes at us from the Fruitbat Factory and will be released on the 14th of September this year. While the gameplay looks quite amusing and the whole style of the game seems like it could be quite fun it also appears like it might be something of an acquired taste. Want to find out what I mean?
